BHU releases admission date for civil services free coaching

BHU Civil Services free coaching: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the admission date for free coaching for Civil Services (Prelims and Main) Examination 2023-24. According to the official notification, admission will be done on December 30 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Ramesh Kumar Nigam, assistant registrar of the centre, said that this time, around 300 students are expected to participate in the admission counselling, out of which only 100 candidates will be selected. Of these, 147 male candidates and 63 female candidates of SC category have been called for the counseling process. 63 male candidates and 27 female candidates were called from OBC category. At the same time, 10 disabled applicants will also be included in the counseling process.

BHU not only provides free coaching but also gives a stipend of Rs 4000 per month to UPSC aspirants. Apart from this, the candidates who are successful in UPSC or State Service Mains examination will be given Rs 15,000.

The Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is considered to be one of the toughest examinations in the world. Due to which the cost of UPSC coaching usually exceeds Rs 1-2 lakh, many students are not able to study in such expensive coaching centres.
