18 girl students of University Polytechnic BIT Mesra have achieved success by performing excellently in the campus placement drive organized in the institute. This placement drive was organized by Dana Anand India Private Limited, Pune especially for girl students. The selected girl students are from Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branches of Diploma. Among these, there are one girl student from the primitive tribe, 7 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST), three from the general category and 7 from the Other Backward Class (OBC).

They got success: Shivani Kumari of Primitive Tribe category, Purnima Kumari of Scheduled Tribe category, Pooja Oraon, Anisha Ekka, Nikita Kumari, Preeti Kachhap, Komal Oraon, Neha Rajshree Tirkey, Anshu Kumari of OBC category, Siddhi Kumari, Ragini Kumari, Pallavi Mahato. , Divya Kumari, Nisha Kumari, Riya Kumari and from the general category Ishika Pathak, Kashish Srivastava and Ankita Mallik.

Selected girl students will get annual CTC of Rs 2,05,143, retention bonus of Rs 10,000 (on completion of first year), apart from free accommodation, food at concessional rate, transport and canteen facilities. Besides, medical insurance facility will also be provided.

The students are excited with the success: Shivani Kumari, a student of the primitive tribe (Mal Paharia) of Dumka, said that earlier she had also been selected in Hitachi and Subros companies. He tried to perform better in every placement drive. Shivani says that lab training is being given very well in the institute. Researchers, professors and scientists from India and abroad presented their research papers on Friday in the international conference on Thermo-Fluids and System Design sponsored by SERB in the Mechanical Engineering Department of BIT Mesra. These research papers relate to various fields which are important from scientific point of view. Publication will be done in a high quality research journal.

Students celebrated with cultural presentations

Ranchi. Creative Arts students presented songs and music on Saturday in the Vikas Bharat Mahotsav at BIT Mesra. Prem Katyayan, Nishu, Arya and Ragini mesmerized the audience with their voices. Acharya Harishanand Avadhoot had an online session from Australia. Students from the Department of Architecture and Planning participated in the panel discussion.
