Austin, Texas: Early on Thursday morning, a car crash in northwest Austin resulted in the hospitalization of two people.

At 12:07 a.m., Austin-Travis County EMS arrived at 6600 Spicewood Springs Road.

When emergency personnel got there, one individual was trapped inside the car. The Austin Fire Department’s firefighters succeeded in their extraction. Medical personnel took one patient, who may have had critical injuries, to Dell Seton Medical Center and St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.

The reason for the crash is not clear so far and is under investigation. The details about the circumstances of the crash have also not been revealed.
