CAT 2023: Know how was the exam, which slot was difficult, read analysis

CAT 2023 All Slot analysis: Common Admission Test i.e. CAT 2023 examination was conducted today (26 November 2023) by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. This examination was conducted in three slots at centers across the country. Students who have appeared in the examination have mentioned about the level of the examination. The CAT 2023 Slot 1 exam was similar to previous years, but there were slight changes in the questions asked in DILR and QA subjects. A total of 66 questions were asked in Slot 1, 24 questions from VARC, 20 questions from DILR and 22 questions from QA. In such a situation, it can be said that the level of the examination was moderate.

CAT 2023 Slot 2 exam was held from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Students who took the exam found the level of the paper to be moderate to difficult. According to Founder Sumit Singh Gandhi (Rahul), CEO of CATKing, the paper was definitely tougher than last year. Let us tell you, the Quantitative Aptitude section in CAT 2023 Slot 2 was tougher than last year and the morning slot. The questions, though long to read, were generally easy to solve for candidates whose concepts were clear.

CAT 2023 Slot 3 was held from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. CAT 2023 Slot 3 test takers found that the difficulty level of the paper from this slot was moderate to difficult. Let us tell you, students were given a total of 120 minutes for the examination.

What will happen after the exam is over?

After the completion of the examination, IIM Lucknow will release the provisional answer key of CAT 2023 and candidates will be allowed to submit objections. After which the final answer key will be released.
