Father could not clear UPSC, daughter fulfilled her dream, first became IPS, then IAS

Sharing a picture with the country’s first IPS officer Kiran Bedi on her Instagram page, Mudra had written, “I still remember the moment when IPS Dr. Kiran Bedi congratulated me with a smile. When I was in school. , I didn’t know then that one day I would be so lucky that I would be selected as IPS and then as IAS. We never know what destiny has in store for any of us. That’s where we have to silently work towards our purpose. We should keep struggling, because one day we will definitely get success.

IAS officer Mudra Gairola is a resident of Karnaprayag in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. She has been a bright student since her school days. Scored 96% marks in class 10th board exam and 97% marks in class 12th board exam. Due to which India’s first female IPS officer Kiran Bedi honored her in school.

Mudra Gairola wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. After finishing school, he took admission in Bachelor of Dental Surgery course (BDS). He also got a gold medal during this course.

The daughter was smart in studies from the beginning, hence her father wanted her to become an IAS officer in the future. He wanted his daughter to fulfill his unfulfilled dream.

Let us tell you, this incident happened in the year 1973, when Mudra’s father had appeared in the UPSC examination to become an IAS officer. At that time he could not succeed in this examination. After which he wanted that there should be an IAS officer in the house. Mudra knew from the beginning what the father’s wishes were. To fulfill her father’s dream, Mudra chose the path of UPSC.

After Mudra graduation, she came to Delhi and took admission in MDS, but she left the MDS course midway to prepare for UPSC. After which started preparing for UPSC exam. In the year 2018, Mudra Gairola appeared for the UPSC Civil Services examination for the first time. In which she had cleared Prelims and Mains, but could not clear the final interview.

Mudra did not give up and gave the UPSC exam again in the year 2019. This time too she had cleared prelims and mains, but failed in the interview round.

Mudra boosted her courage and decided to appear in the examination for the third time. Gave UPSC exam for the third time in the year 2020. This time she could not clear Mains.

Mudra knew that UPSC exam is like chewing iron. After which he decided to appear in the UPSC exam for the fourth time. She appeared in the examination in the year 2021 and this time she cleared Prelims, Mains and Interview. He had secured 165th rank in UPSC 2021. In which she was selected for the post of IPS.

Mudra had chosen the UPSC path to fulfill her father’s dream. Who wanted to see his daughter on the post of IAS officer. To fulfill her father’s dream, she appeared in the UPSC exam for the fifth time and became an IAS officer by securing 53rd rank. To fulfill her father’s dream, Mudra had to appear in UPSC exam 5 times, but a daughter fulfilled her father’s dream.
