During his initial preparation for UPSC, Siddharth Shukla self-studied his chosen subject, History, and took coaching for General Science. Whereas after failing in the first attempt, he did not get the result he wanted. After this he changed the strategy of UPSC. At first he kept himself away from social media and relied on his mother’s phone for occasional conversations with friends. He believes that the use of social media should be minimized while preparing for any exam as it is distracting.
Let us tell you, Siddharth’s journey in UPSC exam was full of failures. In his initial attempt he had to face major failure in the main examination. With a low score in the interview round, the second attempt was also not good. Although he was successful in the second attempt, he was not happy with his rank. At the same time, he did not get a chance to go to the interview in his third attempt.
After failing in the third attempt, he gave himself enough time to improve his reading style and write the answers without mistakes. With this he solved the mock tests and test series within the stipulated time limit. With his hard work and dedication, Siddharth passed the UPSC CSE 2022 exam with 18th rank.
