JEE Main Exam 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the exam schedule for JEE Main 2024. JEE exam is conducted twice a year. Next year i.e. in 2024, the first session of JEE Main exam is to be held from 24 January to 1 February. Why is JEE Main exam conducted?

After the release of JEE Main cutoff list, successful students are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who qualify JEE Advanced can get admission in top engineering colleges like IITs, IIITs and NITs.

What is the marking scheme of JEE Main exam?

JEE Main exam is designed for a total of 300 marks. The paper consists of 90 questions. In which 30 questions are asked from each subject of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There are 20 questions in each section. Let us tell you, multiple choice questions are asked in the examination.

Is there negative marking in JEE Main?

In JEE Main exam, each question has four options, one of which is correct. 4 marks are given for a correct answer, but 1 mark is deducted for a wrong question. At the same time, no marks are given for not answering any question and there is no negative marking.
