National Education Policy 2020: ‘Anubhuti Curriculum’ will be implemented from class 6 to 8 for the first time

For the first time, ‘Anubhuti Curriculum’ will be implemented in more than 45 thousand upper primary schools of Basic Education Council. Understanding of life values ​​will be developed in more than 50 lakh students of classes 6 to 8 studying in these schools so that by acquiring bookish knowledge, they can become not only successful officers, leaders, doctors, engineers, but also as responsible citizens. Be capable of contributing to the development of the country.

Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand has entrusted the responsibility of developing the ‘Anubhooti Curriculum’ and handbook to the experts of the Department of Psychology and Guidance (Manovigyanshala). A workshop will start in the institute from Tuesday to develop understanding of social-emotional learning and values. Understanding of life values ​​will be developed in the students through separate curriculum being prepared for classes six, seven and eight. For this, National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework (NCF) have been made the basis.

Curriculum will be made based on these principles

To develop the personality of children, physical, mental, emotional, moral, cultural, environmental, values, peace and harmony, social, constitutional and life skills have been made the basis on the basis of basic principles given in NEP. Children will be able to realize values ​​when they have knowledge and understanding and internalize them through action. Will develop knowledge and understanding through classroom teaching and then enable them to learn on their own, take decisions and differentiate between right and wrong through the methodology of motivational stories, stories and questions etc.
