PRSU: Five year B.Tech-M.Tech from this session in the state university

Pro. There is good news for the students studying B.Tech-M.Tech from the campus of Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhayya) State University. The university will conduct five-year B.Tech-M.Tech courses in Computer Science from the new academic session 2024-25. The university administration has designed this course. The special thing in this is that after one year of doing B.Tech, students will get M.Tech degree whereas usually M.Tech program is of two years.

Those who complete the first year of studies will get a certificate. Diploma in the second year, B.Tech Honors in the third year, B.Tech in the fourth year and M.Tech degree on completion of the fifth year. For the first time in the campus, there will be admission in B.Tech-M.Tech five years against 60 seats. For this the state university will conduct entrance examination. Preparations are on to start accepting applications for admission in the new session from the first week of April. Vice Chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that complete preparations have been made for conducting the MTech course.

There will be three options in spelling:

Specialization of three subjects will be available in the new M.Tech course prepared by the institute. Vice Chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that after B.Tech, those doing M.Tech will get the option of specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Data Science.

Apart from this, four more new courses will start:

Apart from the B.Tech-M.Tech integrated course, there will be admission in four new courses in the new session. For this, approval has been received from the Executive Council and Academic Council. In this, admission will be done in BALLB, LLM, BPharm, B.Sc-MSc (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany, Geology). 60-60 seats have been fixed for each course.
