Jharkhand NMMS 2023: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has started the application process for Jharkhand NMMS (National Means cum Merit Scholarship) 2023 for eligible students. Eligible candidates who want to apply for the scholarship can apply for JAC NMMS 2023 by visiting the official website – jac-nmms.com. Let us tell you, the last date for filling the form is November 17, 2023. There is no application fee to apply for the scholarship.

As per the official schedule, Jharkhand Academic Council will conduct the JAC NMMS Exam 2023 to shortlist students for the scholarship on December 17, 2023.

Just like the NMMS scholarships offered by many other states, the Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students. Through this scholarship, financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per year will be provided to shortlisted students from class 9 to class 12.

Candidates who are going to apply for this scholarship must have obtained minimum 55% marks in class 9th. However, students must have passed class 9 to be eligible for scholarship in class 10. Similarly, to get scholarship in class 11th one has to pass class 10th with at least 60% marks. Whereas for class 12th, students will have to pass class 11th with 60%.

With this, let us tell you that students studying in class 8th are eligible to apply for scholarship. However, students who are studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik School and private schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Candidates who have obtained minimum 55% marks in class 7th can apply for the scholarship.

Step 2- Click on ‘Submit Application Form’ link on the home page.

Step 3- Fill the application form with all the required details.
