January 2024 School Holiday: After the year 2023, now the world is going to welcome the year 2024, while these days winter vacation is going on in the schools of most of the states of North India. The holidays for school students in some states will last till the first week of the new year. Students can get information about this from their schools. However, in the first week of January, all schools will remain closed in most of the states of North India. Schools will remain closed in many states tomorrow on the occasion of the beginning of the New Year on January 1. Apart from this, winter vacation has been announced in most of the states from January 1 to January 6, 2024, so the year will start with holidays. Delhi government has now announced to keep schools closed for winter vacation from 1 January 2024 to 6 January 2024. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, students have been given winter vacation for about 15 days from 31 December 2023 to 14 January 2024. The Haryana government has announced closure of government and private schools from January 1 to January 15, 2024.

Let us tell you, if the temperature improves and there is a possibility of sunshine, then schools in many states will remain open in the second week. If this does not happen then holidays will remain till 14 January 2024. After this, in the third week, schools will remain closed on festivals like Lohri and Makar Sankranti and on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, there are school holidays in many states.

School students will also get a long weekend to prepare for final exams. Let us tell you, there will be a long weekend on 13, 14 and 15 January 2024. After this, there will be four days holiday in schools on 25, 26, 27 and 28 January. Half-day holidays and programs will be organized in the schools that will open on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January 2024. Then there will be Saturday-Sunday holiday on 27th and 28th January.

Apart from this, the academic calendar for 2024-25 has been released in Uttar Pradesh. Schools will remain open for 233 days in 2024. Next year, children studying in UP schools will get 118 holidays.
