Special: Now apart from lunch break, snack break will also be available in CBSE schools.

Now children will get not only lunch break but also snack break in schools. Bridge course has been released for classes 3 and 6 in CBSE schools. The special thing in the bridge course is that apart from the 45-minute lunch break, there will also be a 15-minute snack break after two to three periods. In classes 3rd and 6th, NCERT has started new books and new syllabus from this session. Regarding how the new curriculum will be taught to the children, hours and periods have been fixed for each subject. There will be no book studies in both the classes on Saturday, but activities will be conducted.

President of Indian Association of Schools, Suman Kumar said that a bridge course has been prepared regarding how children are to be taught in the new changes. There will be 240 classes of Science and Social Science and 150 classes of Art and Physical Education in a year. Till now, Art and Physical Education classes were not scheduled for these classes.

New books will be available and changes will be seen:
New text books of Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, social science, science, mathematics, vocational education, art education, physical education and welfare subjects will be available. The bridge course has been designed accordingly. Teachers will have to become familiar with a number of changes in the content and pedagogy included in the new curriculum and textbooks based on NCF-SE 2023.
