Even in summers, candidates should choose long sleeve shirts. Do not roll up your shirt sleeves before or during the UPSC interview. Along with this, it would be better if you do not wear a very dark colored shirt.

Girls can wear either saree or suit. Girls should choose those clothes in which they feel comfortable, either suit or saree. Do not choose a saree if people force you to do so, if you do not know how to handle it. If girls wear saree then it should not be flashy but should be formal looking.
