In which Aditya Srivastava of Lucknow has secured the first position and has fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS officer. Hailing from Lucknow, Aditya completed his schooling from City Montessori School (CMS), Aliganj Branch, Lucknow. He had also secured 95 percent marks in class 12th. Let us tell you, he was smart in studies from the beginning. After passing class 12th, he cracked JEE and obtained a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. After completing his degree, he took up a job in Bengaluru. After which he left the job with a package of Rs 40 lakh and started preparing for UPSC. Let us tell you, he secured first rank in the UPSC exam in the third attempt. He could not pass the exam in the first attempt and secured 136th rank in the second attempt. After which he got the post of IPS, but from the beginning he wanted to become an IAS officer and today his dream has been fulfilled.

The room of candidates preparing for UPSC is full of books, the room you see in the picture below is Aditya’s room. In which one can clearly see an entire cupboard full of books. There is a map of India on the wall. The room has a table and bed. The table is right near the window, so that one can feel the cool breeze while studying. Talking about the chair, it is a plastic chair with a cushion placed on it so that there is some comfort while sitting. For candidates preparing for UPSC, it is important to have a right place to study.
Aditya’s father Ajay Kumar said, his son did not take the help of any coaching institute for UPSC preparation. He used to study regularly for 10 to 12 hours a day and during this time he kept himself away from social media.
