Subject semester exam calendar released

The university has released the academic calendar for odd semester examinations of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses (except LLB and B.Ed). The examinations will be held from November 28 to December 23 in two shifts (10 to 12 in the morning and 02 to 04 in the afternoon). Due to some delay in admission in LLB and B.Ed and non-completion of the prescribed period for semester courses, their examinations will be held between January 5 to 12, 2024.

Those who get 35 marks instead of 33 will pass.

Instead of 33 percent marks in state universities, now only those candidates who get 35 percent marks will pass. Students scoring less than this will be considered failed. The marks of 35 percent will also include marks of internal continuous assessment. When the National Education Policy 2020 is implemented, students with more than 90 percent marks will get O grade and students with less than 35 percent marks will get F grade i.e. fail grade.

Three very short answer questions will have to be asked, each question will be of three marks. There will be four short answer questions, each of which will be of nine marks. Whereas two long answer questions will have to be asked and each will be of 15 marks. Thus the written examination will be of 75 marks. 25 marks will be for internal continuous assessment. Whereas the evaluation process of Law and B.Ed courses will remain the same.
