UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam: This year, the written examination of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 was organized on 17th and 18th February 2024. An official said that the Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested two constables along with 20 members of the ‘Solver Gang’ involved in the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kumar Ran Vijay Singh, “So far 19-20 people have been arrested. Some of these people are from Bihar, who were brought from Bihar as solvers. The name of Deepu Yadav is among these solvers. There is a person, who is a resident of Patna. He used to work as a conductor and is involved with the Shikohabad gang here.
Ran Vijay Singh told news agency ANI, “Five people have been arrested from Shikohabad, out of which two are constables. Both these constables are residents of Shikohabad. Constable Niranjan had given the exam for 3-4 people. In return for which he had taken Rs 3 lakh. The other constable, whose name is Anuj Sumit, was going to take the exam for a candidate, but we stopped him.
Ran Vijay said, we have all the solid evidence against these two constables and legal action is being taken against them. After completion of the legal action, all the solvers including the constable can be sent to jail. Let us tell you, Uttar Pradesh Government had implemented strict security rules to conduct the UP Constable Civil Police Constable Recruitment Examination. Magistrates were deployed at each examination center and police officers ranging from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Sub Inspector were deployed as center supervisors depending on the number of candidates at each centre.
At the same time, 15 persons who were planning to rig the recruitment examination during the examination were arrested by Etah Police and Rs 2 lakh cash, 64 mark sheets, 30 caste certificates, 30 domicile certificates and 23 admit cards were recovered from their possession. At the same time, news of paper leak is being spread on social media platforms regarding the examination. Due to which Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (Uppbpb) told how confusion regarding paper leak is being spread on social media. Uppbpb yesterday wrote in a post on its official social media platform “It is going on. The Board and @Uppolice are monitoring these incidents and thoroughly investigating their source. The examination is going on safely and smoothly.”
Let us tell you, UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination is being conducted for 60244 posts. Applications from more than 48 lakh candidates have been received for this recruitment. This is the first time that such a large number of applications have been received for the recruitment of a constable. The examination was conducted on February 17 and 18 in a total of 4 shifts at 2385 examination centers in all 75 districts of the state.
