UPPSC RO/ARO Exam 2023 Cancelled: After the cancellation of the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer recruitment exam, the state government has also removed Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s Controller of Examinations Ajay Kumar Tiwari. He has been posted in the less important Revenue Council.
Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer examination was conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on 11 February 2024. Since then, candidates started alleging that the paper was leaked. A report in this regard was sought from the government level and after this this preliminary examination has been cancelled. The government has now removed the controller of examinations.
The Chief Minister on Saturday reviewed the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Preliminary Examination-2023 held on February 11 by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). Complaints were received about some questions of the question paper allegedly going viral on social media in the examination. In this regard, the government had asked the general public to provide evidence of facts related to influencing the examination.
After which the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to cancel the preliminary examination held in both the sessions on March 2 and said that the examination will be conducted again in the coming 6 months. Although the exam date has not been released yet, the Commission will announce the exam dates on the official website at the right time.
The Chief Minister has also directed that the investigation of this matter should be handed over to STF to identify the persons involved in such criminal acts and take strict legal and punitive action against them. STF will complete its investigation as soon as possible and strict action will be taken against all the responsible persons involved in this.
