UPSC IAS interview dates released, will start from January 2, see complete schedule here

UPSC Civil Services 2023 interview schedule: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the complete schedule of Civil Services 2023 interview i.e. Personality Test. Candidates who have qualified the UPSC main examination were shortlisted for interview. Now they can see the complete schedule on the official website upsc.gov.in.

As per the released schedule, the interviews will start on January 2 and end on February 16, 2024. A total of 1,026 candidates will be included in the interview round. Interviews will be conducted in two shifts. Reporting time is 9 am and 1 pm for the afternoon session.

Let us tell you, the traveling expenses will be reimbursed to the candidates who appear for the interview. Candidates should note that this reimbursement will be limited to second/sleeper category train fare (Mail Express) only.

Candidates will have to bring their admit card i.e. e-summon letter in UPSC interview. Without this entry will not be allowed. However, according to the information released by UPSC, e-summon letters for personality test will be made available to these 1026 candidates soon. Which can be downloaded from the official website upsc.gov.in and upsconline.in.

UPSC Main Exam was held on September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2023. The result was declared on December 8, 2023. Only those candidates who have passed the main examination will appear in the UPSC interview.

Candidates who clear UPSC Interview will be selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’) posts. With this, let us tell you that there are three stages in the UPSC exam. Prelims, Mains and Interview. UPSC preliminary examination is a qualifying examination, marks of which are not added to the final result. While UPSC main exam is of 1750 marks, UPSC interview is of 275 marks. Finally UPSC exam is conducted for total 2025 Marks.
